What is Katonah Yoga?
Katonah Yoga is a practice of pattern and imagination. We use props generously, we borrow maps from the Taoist seasons, and we fold the body the way you'd fold origami: with reference points, with humor, and without force.
You don't need to be flexible, young, or experienced. You need a little curiosity. The poses are not the point; they're the technique. The point is a better-organized body that you love living in.
"The body is the house. Practice is the housekeeping."

Your teacher
I teach the way I coach: body first.
I’ve practiced and taught yoga for 20 years, and Katonah is the practice that finally made so much sense to me: forms that inform you, so you can learn, not perform.
Classes are small on purpose. I’ll know your name, your needs, and where your body is that day. Hands-on adjustments here are a conversation.
